I'm looking for a 1982-1992 Firebird or Trans-AM within a few hours of Dallas Texas.
What I'm looking for:
1985-1990 preferred.
T-Tops. (Factory, not CNC or other aftermarket)
Good to excellent condition.
Must be a V8 car.
Trans-AM preferred over Firebird.
Hit me up with virtually anything though so long as it's in decent shape and the car runs. If the car "feels right" I might overlook some issues. One thing I won't do is consider V6 cars outside of the 1989 Turbo TA. I'll drive a fairly long distance (several hundred miles) if the car is "right."

I've had the car since 1999, bought it from a lady in North Dallas who was not using it anymore since she was getting up there in age and her and her husband had just bought new Harleys for the new recreational fun.
The car is all stock except for a 180 deg stat with matching fan switch from JET, and a Flowmaster muffler.
Had it resprayed at Maaco for cheap about 6 yrs ago , so it could use a paint job.
Has a pushed in rear lh quater fender, but since its black, you can hardly see it.
Had AAMCO rebuild the trans about 3 yrs ago, but the engine has never been touched and runs strong.
Car has cold A/C, power windows, p/b, p/w locks, vats security, power hatch release,
4 whl disc brakes, silver 16x8 formula wheels with orig WS6 center caps, formula 350 side decals on doors, and black window tint.
Seats need to be recovered, but this car is very cool as is and gets looks from everyone
who sees it.
Will post lots of pics as soon as the weather clears and we can take some good pics and video
if seriously interested, you can reach me at peteg6275211@yahoo.com
I have a Rare 1982 MSE ( Motor Sport edition) Mecham Racing (MR) for sale.

If you've got some pictures of the car, I'd love to see them.
The car is in great shape. Beautiful. Unfortunately that's not what I'm looking for though. I really want a car with T-Tops, but even if I didn't, I'm planning on most likely doing an engine swap and painting the car all black, changing the wheels, etc. I can't do that to a limited edition vehicle like that and feel good about myself. I'm really partial to the 1985-1990 cars, and second I like the 1991-1992's. The 1982-1984 cars are nice too, but I have a preference for the slightly newer cars.
If I were a collector, I'd be all over your car. Thank you for positng pics, I appreciate it.
Nice car. Unfortunately it's outside of my price range. I've been looking at vehicles under $5,000. In fact I believe I have found my car. I will post pics if I get it, but if the deal falls through I'll certainly be coming back to this thread.
