WTB/Trade Firebird 305/V6 - 5spd

I don't really need too - but I can seem to get the idea of having a winter f-body out of my mind :P

I've only driven RWD so far in the winter - it was a mustang and I enjoyed it far more than driving my laser and hardly touched the laser.

This year I can't do that - my bird already has some rust, bad floors, and no heat.

I just figured I'd see if anyone has just some old firebird that simply runs/drives like she should. She doesn't have to be pretty or built or anything. All I'd ask is it have heat and not just a big rust box - of couse I don't care about a patch and stuff here and a rust hole or two - I just dont wan't something where like the whole fender is gone too rust!

I have a buddy whose fun car is his 383 S10 - and his DD year-round is his 305 TBI Trans AM he bought for $700 - and it works great for him.

So anyway - enough of that.

What I'd primarily like.

Any firebird - I'd also consider a camaro.
Preferably with a 305 5speed. Also would take a v6 - 350 really to me just isnt neccessary at all.
Must have heat that works good.
Would prefer a hardtop.
Needs no immediate maintenance or repair - is a solid running/driving car.

I honestly am not really interested in any automatics - the thing that to me makes winter driving so much easier in a rwd was having my mustang be a 5speed.

Prefer to stay under $1,200
I also could work out a trade for my laser if anyone's interested.

It's a 1992 1.8L Plymouth Laser 5 speed - bone stock. Decent stereo / great heat / ac needs charged / passenger window doesnt go down (currently taped up - would probably be an easy fix - they are crankems I just didnt feel like it). Sunroof / not much rust - a patch behind the passenger door and thats it. Has a fair share of scratches / key mark on the side. Some scrapes on the hood. All new rotors/breaks/calipers & rebuilt clutch. Have all receipts. Leaks a bit of oil. Has some lifter tick so I've ran Synthetic Mobil 1 to keep it quiet.

If I were to sell it I'd want like $800 out of it. 115k miles on it.

I have no immediate pictures of it - it's basically just an overall reliable DD that gets 30mpg.

Anyway - if you have something that sounds like what I'd like let me know.

It's no big deal if I can't find anything - I'd just rather be driving a third-gen around than my laser :P
