Just purchased: 1987 Trans Am

I picked this car up for only $300 today. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it mechanically! It's amazing what kind of deals one can find. The previous owner is moving out of state tomorrow morning. What's funny is when I called him he just got off the phone with the local junkyard and that's what they offered him. He told me that if I gave him the same amount that I can have it.

OK, I'll just go back to bed now. My day is ruined...

Seriously, that's a really nice car, period. Was it headed for the junkyard because it didn't pass smog?

It's a LG4 car. The options on the car are strange. It has power mirrors, power windows, and cruise control but doesn't have power hatch release, power door locks, or rear defroster. No WS6 either.

He had it listed for $800 but when I called he said come and get it for $300. I guess he just needed to sell it.
