I think the next color i'm going to paint the GTA is Gold...what do you think?

Anyone here have any Gold GTA's? Trans Am's?

I think the Gold Bird died in 1981. Never seen a gold third-gen and frankly I don't want to. But, whatever floats your boat.

Dude, that red is dang sexy. I hope you don't regret your paint decision.

I vote for sun set orange metallic. If my bird would have had a different color interior, other that red, that would be the color I would have went with. I think the gold could look just as well.

I was considering gold, and i VERY VERY quickly decided agaisnt it once i saw a picture. There one on Cardomain i beleive 85-89 formula. Its gold and black.

They made a gold TA in 85, maybe 86. No GTAs.

I had some pictures of one....I will look again

I had a gold T/A way back when. It was an 85 305 ci 5 speed. Trying to remember the GFX were a copper color i think.

It look pretty good though. I was surfing the net the other day and found one that looked the same but cant remember where i saw it. I look a bit and post it if i find it again.

Here is a pick of the same paint as my old 85. Not sure if this is considered gold or not. Think Pontiac might have called it copper.

Not a Trans Am or GTA, but it's all I could find. It should give you an idea though.



I think with some black crosslaces, a gold GTA would actually look alright.
