ok so i put black z06 rims on the car opinions plz

hello all, well i decided on some rims and got the black 04 Z06 wheels for the bird, i think it looks tough and apparently by what my friends say looks mean rolling. i went with the 17" 18" combo with 245/40/17 in the frnt and 285/35/18 in the rear, i got no rubbing issues front or back, i use to have rubbing in the front with the stock wheels on, i got the skulite 2" spacers on the rear and didnt need a spacer in the front. here are some pics let me know what you guys think!

i think i got the look that i was going for, i wanted a low profile tire and some mean rubber in the back car rides great with them on, the tires are falken fk452's.

I've always loved the black rim look. The black with the silver accent surrounding it looks great. I bet they look even better rolling....nice.

With the T-Tops and Windows rolled up(if you have tint on them) it would look better...I liked the way the car looked stock with the dark red exterior/red interior...but with black wheels, think it would look better with black interior if your going with black wheels.
Car looks good regardless.

imo it looks pretty bad with those dry tires. you would be suprised at how much tire shine can enhance the look of your car.

Looking good! Those are the same style I chose for my 89 RS. Mine are replicas which came in a 17 X 8.5 with a 25mm offset, so no spacers rquired. Picture is immediately after putting the wheels back on the car following some spring cutting...

i just think it looks weird to see a nice shiney wheel surrounded by an old dry lookin tire. the tires dont have to be greasy, just a deep black.

Relax Dan. If you showed up here with nothing but positive things to say about everyone's car, I would know for a fact someone took over your account.

~runs~

I think the wheels look pretty good!

See how easy that was? hehe

hey if there was something wrong about my car, but no one wanted to offend me by telling me in person, then i would be glad if someone told me on here. i dont think people want to hear the same clique comments like "looks good". he already knows it looks good or he wouldnt post pics of it here.

I just wish they didn't have the chrome bolts on them holding the wheel pieces together. If they were made like the 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am wheels, or 96 Grand Sports, oh man! I think those would look 1000x better. But I dont even like the Chrome plated Z06 wheels either-I only liked the originals--the painted ones.
