paint idea for 91 GTA

The fog light area of GTA front bumpers on the 91-92 models is supposed to be painted flat black.

I have a black GTA and was thinking of painting this area metallic silver. I have gold Corvette GS-style racing stripes. But, I dont want to paint that area gold because I think it will be overkill. However, if I paint it silver, I'm worried the colors will clash.

What do you guys think of this idea? Can someone do a photoshop for me? I'm not sure if it's something I want to do or not.

Thanks!
Bill

The fog light area of a GTA front bumper on the 91-92 models were...Fog lights...unless you mean the metal it mounts to? Or are you referring to the plastic inserts that the Formula and some base model Firebirds have instead of Fog Lights?

Re: paint idea for 91 GTA

Mine was black. I don't think it was flat black, but it was black none the less. It mimicked the camaros semi-gloss headlight pockets.

The whole thing wasn't black but a couple inches inside the opening it went to black.

And I think silver would clash horribly with gold hash marks. Just means you should make the hash marks silver. (I dislike gold in almost every application)
