hmm thats weird...didnt notice the multi post. And I have not gotten an invoice for any addition amount. I should be getting them in any day now though.
Count me out on this. I needed a new shotgun for work, so my tax return got gobbled up by that. However I guess I can't b*tch, as I did get something cool out of it instead of paying a bill. Though I still want the headers.

New shotgun for work? Where the heck do you work? I'm in Bako so I'd like to know if I need to duck at any given time
On topic: I had some unexpected expenses at home so I don't think I can get in on this deal. Maybe next time.
ok well I emailed chris and heres what he had to say:
Dear Jason,
The Hooker #2055 is a set of emission legal shorty style headers and Y
pipe. The O2 fittings come with the headers. Your cost for the #2055
headers & Y pipe, coated in&out with the Jet Hot sterling silver finish,
is $655+s&h to the door. This reflects your 3rd gen discount. We can
remove and weld closed the A.I.R. tubes. Add $50 to the price. Please
feel free to call 1-800-432-3379 ext 110 with any question or to place
an order.
Thanks
Chris

Would love to get some nice headers for the bird, would it be better to have sucky heads w/headers or good heads with stock manifolds?? Eventually both will be done, but gotta do one thing at a time.

Sad part is I am serious. I open and close one of the larger gunshops in town and am almost always by myself. I perfer to rock something larger than a handgun. Keys to assualt weapons is a good and bad things certain days. Though I still want the headers. However it is not looking like it will happen.
Im confused on the price, on the first page of this thread it says $647 shipped but the price he gave me was $655+Shipping. Can someone clear this up for me? Im ready to order these.
Just so everyone knows....briefly looked at the headers (spent the weekend helping my gf move into her new apartment) and they look amazing...the finish is beautiful. i'm tempted to open up the collector holes as is suggested on this site for these headers...but I dont want to ruin the finish or risk them rusting from there (and probably voiding the warranty). Other than that they look great. now i just gotta find time to install them.
This is great newws for me. I was just trying to figure out how I can get me a pait of headers without paying such a high price. I even looked thru the parts for sale for them. What do I need to do to join in on the group purchase for the hooker 2055 headers? Somehow you guys are right on time with this group purchase.

Anybody got an opinion on this? At the moment I basically can afford one or the other, or should I just wait till I can get both?
I just stumbled across this post, Ive been wanting these for a while but didnt want to spend $750 (from summit) I should be able to call jet hot today ot tomorrow, thanks for your work
Got mine today. Wow these look great. Im gonna have to get some batteries for my camera now. Jet-hot is awesome! Plus they gave me a big box to play in jk
Mine didnt come with anything... I just called jethot and they said it was supposed to be in there, but I didnt see it. They are going to ship it out to me.
Mine doesnt really look thin in any spots, but I did notice what looked like a little bit of rust residue (brownish powder) inside the header at the end of the flange.
yes, I got the gaskets and bolts that I will prob not use. It also came with 2 sets of warranty info and stickers, I prob have yours..lol
The coating is very thin on one of the flanges and there is a 1.5" spot in the open that looks like is was missed completely. I hate to send em back. I will call Chis tomorrow and ask him. Overall though, I am happy and excited to get them on.
i am contacting Chris now to see about a set and asking for the air tubes to be removed too
i am also seeing about a set for my 79 and for one of my jeeps
i also asked about making sure the coating is nicely done
lately i've heard some mixed reviews on their coating work
Did you buy them through our GP? I didnt have your name down.
Anyway, my dealings with Chris at Jethot were excellent. If you were missing the Y-Pipe, that is a huge thing, there is no reason they wouldnt send you another one ASAP. I find it hard to believe they would have even sent them without it...
I cant speak to how they did with the cutting of the air pipes and welding them shut. I know a few other guys here got that done. Anyone else have any issues?
I unofficially joined the group purchase late - about a few days past the last deadline. I'm sorry I never let you know, in part because I was very busy and my internet was down. Anyway, Chris at Jet-Hot extended the offer for me and I made the purchase. All necessary parts were received on time and in very good condition (although the box looked beat up). I looked over the coatings and didn't find any bare spots. The only issue I have come across so far was what sounded like something tiny rolling around inside one of the header manifolds. After shaking it around, it figured it was something caught inside one of the AIR pipes. By plugging the other three pipes and blowing through the fourth, I concluded there was something stuck inside there. Although the flow is heavily reduced, I don't think I will have to worry as the other 7 air pipes should make up for the loss.
Just wanted to announce my experience so that the tally is fair and to pop my posting cherry.
