Orders must be in by March 31st. Please post here once you have ordered. Turnaround time is 2 weeks.
To order, You can email or PM me your information, or you can contact Chris directly via phone or email. He will need the following information:
Full Name
Phone # (He will call you to get payment information if you contact him via email)
Shipping Address
Thirdgen.org Username (this will be how I can identify who has ordered)
He quoted me $673 + Shipping. I'd say shipping would easily be $30-$50, so in all, your probably saving anywhere from $50-75 or so. Its not a ton, but if we're going to purchase them anyway, a few bucks is a few bucks.
My goal right now is to try and have enough people by the end of February. Lets set a date for 2.28 right now. I am in no rush, so we could do the end of March as well. Thoughts?
Id be interested in this. As long as I got the money by then ill definantly buy a set. I have 2 large bill that I have to pay off in feb so hopefully ill have enough $. Ill post back when im 100% positive.
Sign me up. I was looking at getting Long tubes but with living in a heavily smog regulated state the cost is not worth it to me for all the hassles that I would have to go through to make it work. I would perfer the end of march.
If we're going for the end of March I'd be in for sure, put me on the list. I planned on buying them this spring/summer anyway, so why not save some dough.
Awesome, if we can get 10 or more, I might be able to get him down even lower. He didnt seem to confident I would even be able to get 5, so lets prove him wrong.
March 31 is the deadline as it stands now. Once we get into March, I will need people to start giving me a definite Yes or No and I will coordinate with everyone on the payment etc...
I was planning on order these headers this weekend....but I suppose I can wait...however....I was going to get them coated and without the air tubes....are these included in the group purchase?
any chance of bumping the purchase date sooner....looks like I'll have an open weekend on the first weekend of march....would hate to loose that opportunity to install them............was he planning on sending them all to you and then you shipping them to us or how was that going to work? Maybe I can talk him into selling me the headers at the discount price now, and counting me as one of the group purchasers....I can always say "do that or ill just buy some slps"
My plan was to have all parties do direct orders with Chris so they would be shipped to you directly.
e-mail chris and talk to him, my guess is he can count you and either refund you the extra once everyone purchases theirs, or charge you extra if we dont get enough. 1 of the two.
Just an update on my status. Im almost certain that ill be a part of this group purchase. Ill post that im 100% for it, when i recive my tax return. That would be even better if we got a deal with 10 ppl so hopefully more will join up.

I can offer the Hooker #2055 ,all fully coated in&out with the Jet Hot sterling silver finish, for $544+s&h. This would include the set of emission legal shorty style headers and the high flow Y pipe.
If you wanted to start a GP, I can offer the same set up for $519+s&h.
Thanks

You can buy em from summit uncoated for 379, then have em shipped to you, then to jet hot, then they charge $180 - $200 to coat them. In the end its easier to just buy them from Jethot.
So are these coated without the AIR tubes? if so put me down on the list. And as soon as we pay for them they get shipped out, correct? Or do we have to wait til march 31st? Thanks -Jason
The 2055's are AIR capable. I think you can get them from Jet-Hot with the tubes welded, but you would need to email chris to find out. His info is at the top of the page, along with the shipping details.
oh and I'm not sure (cause it was so cheap) but I'm expecting that once he gets the headers in...hes going to invoice me seperately for cutting off and welding shut the AIR tubes....again....not sure...he didnt specify...but I'm expecting it.
so he only charged you about $25 for cutting and welding the air tubes? or you think hes gonna charge you more too?ok put me down on the possible list, im pretty sure im gonna do it though.I should have the money in a few weeks or so.
I'm very interest in getting in on this GP. I wrote Chris at Jet-Hot with a few questions. The main question was which type of Jet-Hot coating would be applied(there are 5 different types on their website). I also asked the difference between their coatings and the ceramic coating you get from Summit,Jegs, etc. I know the 2055s come with the air tubes but do they come with the O2 sensor bung? You can put me down for a possible until I hear back from Chris. Thx.
JB22, The coating is the 1300. Coated inside and out including the y-pipe,O2 bung is installed,3 year finish warranty and lifetime corrosion warranty. The 2055s from Summit,Jeg's etc. only have one coat of ceramic applied and something like a 3 month finish and 1 year corrosion warranty. I ran into a TPI setup locally that I could not pass up and it took some of the money I had towards the 2055s. I can't commit to the group purchase as of yet. Chris at Jet-Hot did say he will extend the $647.00 price out past 3/31 if needed. I'm going to work some OT and sell some of my 3rd gen. extra parts so I can get them. I just don't know if I will make the 3/31 dead line.
