MAC performance parts G.P. at FastToy's ...

Due to the success of our AS&M group purchase with FastToy's, (22 orders in total)

They've contacted me and let me know that they plan on having a G.P. just for us, on the entire line of MAC products. This is not just the Fbody parts either. This is on every product MAC has on their website. Here is a copy of the email they sent me a little while ago.

"....Hi Phil,

We are looking to do a Mac Products GP. We can offer the following 3rd gen products at a significant discount. Mac doesn't have these products available very often since 3rd gen sales are slow... it would be a good opportunity to cash in!

All Mac products that are in stock at Mac would be eligible for the GP. That would include any car or truck etc. We would need 10 orders in total. There are far too many items to list so what I will suggest is that you have club members email us with a part # and description of the part(s) they want and we will email them back with a price.

Very important: We have to respect Mac's advertised pricing policy. Please ask your members to not post the prices publically on any message forum. This is important to ensure we can still offer special GP pricing in the future.

Thanks again!...."

For the record, Mac's website is Mac Performance - performance accessories for cars, trucks, and motorcycles

Please repect the wish's of both FastToys and MAC and DONT ADVERTISE THE DISCOUNT PRICES ON THE FORUM !!

If you've received a quote from them let us know what part the quote was for and if there is anybody who's interested in getting the same part, they can send you a P.M. asking the price.

I would say everything you've suggested.

Only exception would be those bilstein struts if the price doesn't come down quite a bit.

Good work bro

If we could get a discount on a package deal like the sub-frame connectors and wonder bar together, that'd be MINT!!

Strengthen the chasis and reinforce the steering box mount all in one shot. Sweet.

As far as the Bilsteins go, yeah they're the most expensive shocks but they're also the best performing and have a lifetime guarentee so that's peace of mind right there.

If they could drop about $100 off the price, I'd be in for a set. Otherwise, the SFC's and wonderbar are my first choices....
yea i have T-tops so iam in that vote for sure. some time after that i wouldnt mind swoping my hooker comps for those hooker super comps w/y-pipe(2055)

FYI shox.com has Bilsteins for $643, standard or sport. I have heard that people can get rebuilt fronts as part of the set (not specifically from Shox, just in general). While I am not as to how much truth there is in that, at least we have one figure to work with. I'd be in for a set at a good price, after the checkbook cools off a bit I know one thing: At any price the Bilsteins sure beat the KYBs that I have beat into the ground in the last 40K...

I also second FastToys. They are excellent at communications, and really jumped on that runner deal for us. Great folks.

I'm in for sure.
The hooker 2055 headers w/Y pipe for sure,$461.99-gp discount(summit sells for 399)
the Mac catback exhaust(MACTKC691)$389.99-GP discount
Electronic exhaust cutout(QTEC30CP)3" $198.99-GP discount
Any of the spohn stuff LCA brackets, LCAS, Adjustable torque arm w /driveshaft loop, ADJ. Panhard bar
Any of the strut tower braces listed.
O yeah the bilstiens for sure.
Nitrous express kit$589.99-GP discount

I already have the sub frame connectors and wonderbar. The best mod hands down. The SFC's got rid of 80% of the rattles instantly.

Im pretty much up for anything. The runners were the first mod for my car so I need everything. I would really like to pick up the intake base next for it. Especially since I just picked up a set of 2055s off ebay for $280. Im defeinetly looking for a CAT back which I think im getting from Spohn for $289.99 best price I found.

As I already have my suspension done, (except for the struts/shocks, I only have the KYB GR2's) the Bilsteins would be my first choice. Sway bars wouldn't be a bad idea either. Maybe a nitrous kit? Or a set of pullies or even one of those fancy suction cup/roll cage mount Camera's? Those would be pretty sweet eh?

Possibly pulleys, not sure. They're cheap enough, I don't see the need for a GP on them.

I wonder if they deal with a header company that makes them for both the F bodies, and the Y (corvette) bodies?

How about some a-arms? Looking at Fastoys site, the Spohn Tubular A-Arms look sick! The torque arm would be my 2nd choice now, we all need one of those.

1. A-Arms
2. Torque Arm
3. Sway Bars
4. Bilsteins
5. Camera/Mount

Just got a reply back from Fast Toys about a Diff Cover. I asked about the TA piece but they sell both the TA and the MAC. Anyone interested in one of those? I know the 10 bolt isn't anything special but these seem to help a bit when it comes to the 10 bolts life...

TA diff cover sounds good. On the TA site, you also get a discount if you get the main cap studs at the same time. Could they offer both?

I'll be beefing up my 10-bolt after the crush sleeve debacle.....

I was just at the fast toys site and the cover is 154.99 you have to add 24.99 for the studs just like on thunder racing.
Since thunder racing is a sponser of this site we could prob get a good price directly from them.

There any way we can order a set of AS&M Semi-siamesed runners in the GP? I noticed that the last GP was just large tube runners, but I'd really like a set of the siamese runenrs.

Count me in for any G.P. for the subframe connectors, wonderbar, and sway bars. A combination G.P. of the SFC and the wonderbar would be really nice.

Alright, this is what I want...

It's either the TPI base or the TA Diff cover. I would rather the Diff cover as I've heard horror stories about these 10 bolts and just want to be a little bit more "sure" that my rear won't pop with my new motor. Working on getting a set of 3.42's off LT1FUN as well so those would help alot. What do you guys think? These rears can use all the help they can get!!!

Just for clarification, do they mean ANY MAC products, or just what you have listed?? I understand the "significant" discount on the slow moving stuff, but just curious if they can do something on all the MAC items or not.

I'd possibly be interested in the MAC catback # TK3599 for my truck, and the MAC catback # TK4602 for my Expedition...dependent on pricing, obviously.

Thanks LT1FUN and Fast Toys!

Well depending on the "SIGNIFICANT" discount I am in for:
1. The strut tower brace(MACSTC8292) in chrome.
2. The headers (MACTF8690)
3. The off road pipe (MAC48792)
4. The catback exhaust(MACTKC691)
5. And to top off the exhaust system (although not MAC) a QTP 3" electronic exhaust cutout (QTEC30CP)
6. How about the 7.5" 10 bolt rearend cover(MAC28110)?
Did I mention I love fast toys

On these forums, everyone is going to tell you that the 2055's are the best there is. Truth of the matter is MAC is also a great header but since not too many people have them, they don't get the recognition they deserve. My mechanic tells me they're the best fitting headers for third gens and I personally like the way MAC designed the air injection system. Very clean instalation and really cleans up the engine compartment.

I was planning on buying these headers for my car but the one thing that held me back is the fact that I drive my IROC all year round and with the amount of salt they throw on the streets during the winter, I wanted my headers to be stainless steel so they wouldn't rust out..

If the price is right and you don't drive your car through the winter, I'd say go with them.

My mechanic tells me they're the best fitting headers for third gens and I personally like the way MAC designed the air injection system. Very clean instalation and really cleans up the engine compartment.
Just an FYI from a former Mustang guy, and many time (new & used) MAC header user.

I never had a fitment issue. but...Their HTC coating seems like nothing more than silver Krylon. In two separate sets of my own brand new headers, they rusted within days of install and first running with them. Not sure if the GM versions have the same problems, but a quick search of ANY Ford forum will immediately show many issues with MAC headers. Again, I do not know if that's a problem with the GM headers, but wanted to make a note for anyone who may want to dig a little deeper before dropping the cash.

That's great that Fast Toys is extending the GP for ALL MAC Products!
I'll be emailing them for pricing on two different catbacks.

FWIW, If we have ANY trouble at all getting the required orders, I can make a quick post on a Mustang board or two and it'll be a done deal.

The HTC doesn't last very long but that can be said about any HTC regardless of the header make. It's there mainly to prevent rust from forming on the headers while they're sitting on a shelf somewhere in stock waiting to be sold.

Once you put them on a car, the HTC will only last a few days at best. It's not meant to be permanent (I should hope not anyways )

MAC also offers there headers with Ceramic coating aswell. Part numbers is
TF8692 for the ceramic headers+ypipe.

Do me a favour, when you get a quote from them on the parts you want, ask them if they need 10 orders of the same part, or just 10 orders of MAC products in general (headers/SFC's/cat-back's/strut tower braces etc. ) inorder to qualify for the discount price.

I get the feeling we might not get 10 people all wanting the same part, but I'm sure we can come up with 10 or more wanting different MAC parts. If we could still get discount prices on whatever MAC products we want, regardless of how many people want the same part as you, that would be mint!

Will do LT1FUN, but if you think about it, it'd be all but impossible to get 10 orders of each item someone was interested in. I'm "guessing" 10 orders (minimum total) to get the discount, period, but I'll be sure to ask and post back as soon as they answer.

If I need 9 other people to get a 3" catback for their 97 Chevy pickups...
I'm pretty much screwed...LOL.

I've received a quote for their *subframe connectors and *off-road ypipe. Should anybody be interested in getting either one of these, please P.M. and I'll let you know the price.

PLEASE DONT POST PRICE'S IN THIS THREAD!!

The price for the sub-frame connectors make them pretty much a "must buy" for me. I mean, at that price, why the heck not 'ya know?

Hey rel3rd, did you find out if the 10 orders all have to be the same part to get the discount or can it be 10 "MAC" products in general ordered and still get a discount on each item......

Let us know when you get the chance

I just recieved an email from them stating that all we need is 10 orders to get the GP, not 10 orders of one part. So we're all good!

MINT!!

Ten orders shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure we have atleast that many people here interested in getting either headers (HTC or ceramic coatings) or cat-backs, SFC's or strut-tower braces, off-road pipes etc. etc.

If anybody decideds to place an order, let us know so we can keep record of the order count. I'll probably start another "COMMITTED" thread I did witht he runners. That way, we know exactly how many orders we have and how many orders we need.

I put together a MAC SFC group buy and they took 8 months to build 6 sets for us... It royally screwed us over as they told us 2 months then 8 months later they arrived.

But pending price I'm in for hooker 2055's with y pipe!

Alright people, I just received an email from FastToy's telling me that thhe deadline they were given by MAC is "end of day" next Friday (October 13th).

Apparently, they already have one order (who was the first to place an order ) and only need another 9.

They said they prefer to sell only the products of MAC that they stock themselves so that there's less of a waiting time. In other words, any of the MAC stuff you see on FastToys' website, they'll have it in stock for sure. All the other products MAc sells on their website, may or may not be in stock but you still get the discount.

Next Friday guys. That's the deadline.

Remember to mention the "G.P." you were given in the "comments box" apon submitting your order...

Post if decide to order anything. I'm curious to see who was the person who placed the first order....

I'm wondering if anybody's gonna get in on this as I'd like to buy the 10-bolt cover/girdle.

Anyone got a count or anything?
