Wait a minute, did I just read that last email update correctly? They spend nearly a year in development and created a real good looking product in the process - then stop production after just one batch to complete the pre-orders ? Hope I misread that as I'd like to order a set. Ken

They will keep production of their already made products and from what i think they might be trying to clear out inventory to build back up cleanly....since now they are getting alot more interest than ever....

So NO more group buy orders.

I like the ones that CrazyHawaiian designed. I would pay a lot of money to have a set like those. They would have to be smooth all across it and not bumpy like the stockers. No dividing lines appearing on the outside of the different light up sections. But still have the sections work like normal (except the reverse lights of course). Now, if they were LEDs......

If you have ever played GTA4 you know that design is in that game on the camaro.

I was actually thinking on doing this, but painting or covering the top and bottom rows and leaving the center open for light to go through. Not sure how it would look lit up and not sure if I want to ruin $250 worth of new tail lenses...

But that design is what i have wanted to do for a good year now...lets see who does it first...HAHAHAHA. Cuz only then can they be called the originater...MWAH AHAHAHAH

So has anyone actually recieved the lenses and installed them yet? I want to see them actually on a car before I make my final desicion on what to get.

I was deciding between the all red with clear reverse and the all clear smoked. I showed pics to a bunch of people and the overwhelming choice was clear smoked. So that's what I ordered.
Too bad I won't be able to put them on for a long time. I have to take the stereo out of the trunk to get the taillights out and I am pouring the pad for my garage next week and starting to build it in 2 weeks. Then I will tear the whole car apart and taillights will be the last things on my mind.

Word is Jason @ KLEARZ is getting the driver side done this week and part of next and will start shipping them out, he says about 7 orders have been payed for (EXCLUDING MINE) due to recent car problems.

He also said the adhesive he was going to supply with the lenses for the extra $10 or so it was, the company said they sent him the supplies (the 10th of this month) but hasnt received anything, so give it about another 2 (sorry guys i know I jumped to say their ready) weeks or so before they are sent out, just be patient guys as we all already have, these will be so kickass and different in the camaro world that I see OOOOHH's AND AHHH's coming everytime someone looks at our cars.

Plus I want to see these LED setups and custom grid setups people are posting and talking about, this will bring alot of new looks to the maro I think.

Are there still rear taillights available? Can I send mine in for them to clean up and work on for reduced price or do they just make with new ones?

I see the styles they offer but I was looking for the clear/red/red/red in the smoked style or maybe even the factory clear/yellow/red/red in smoked. Can they make these as well?

I will purchase a set either way but I keep getting an error on the website...

They would have been better is they where made in one peice. I know they did it this way for different color combos and cheaper shipping but I would have paid the cost of the shipping for one peice.

Did you send these over to Jason and talk to him about it? I got some pics of the set he is making for me and they look very nice from what I saw. Might be a different story once they get in but we will see. Are you sure you assembled them correctly? Not saying you dont know how to but just a question.

I would like to know more about what is going on with this because yes they are expensive and if they do not fit right then its even worse.

There's really no way to assemble them incorectly and plus the packages they come in are numbered. Im in contact with Jason. I sent him the pictures and Im just waiting for his response.

I wonder if trying to glue these together on some sort of flat surface or maybe a little jig or something will help to get these all true and plane and then if there are excess edges of plastic maybe just shave them down?

I hope to get mine soon from Jason and I will do a detailed install/assembly if I can. I hope you get this worked out.

I just want to say Im sorry I jumped the gun. Jason is working with me. There is no need to be concerned. You just have to follow his instruction on the site and take the time to make it look nice.

im very interested in what you did the 2nd time around if it turned out better for you. i dont want to drop cash on something that is not going to fit close to factory.

I got mine yesterday. I also received an email about the potential issues and how to correct them. I will be test fitting them today.

Basically all you have to do is have a little time, pateince and a hair dryer. The warped panel goes back into shape once you heat it up. You just have to follow Jason's instruction and the Tail lights come out really nice.

All I have to do now it paint my LED panels so they dont show through the Lenses.

not sure how long the adhesive will hold up to heat and the elements.
id hate to buy these and then have water in my lights and end up with stains.
these lights look like the ticket, im just so paranoid about new products.

id have like to seen a one piece lens. even if it was another 20-30-40 dollars a set, and more shipping, it would be worth it in the long haul, IMO.

I should be getting mine on wed nov 12 accoring to the tracking info. I got all dark smoked. But I won't be able to install them for a while. The car is in storage and I'm building a garage right now.

What did you do for the corners? Yours appear to have a sort of diamond pattern to them.. where mine are full clear.

Yes I took the reflector out of the old lens and placed it in the new one.

that looks horrible.. hope it's the lighting! get them on the car. the last picture posted on the box looks half way decent.

And it WAS stated these would be coming in multiple pieces, of course I think they could have kept those who wanted all smoked or red smoked as 1 piece, just pay for the extra shipping.

I will be getting mine after x-mas as mine are on hold (first set of smoked baby), and am buying all new housings, new wiring harnesses and led bulbs, I will be making a completely NEW set of tails for my camaro...its what she (Roxz = Roxie) deserves.

i received my lenses today and will begin installation within the week. may i suggest that we start a new thread in the fabrication or product review section for those with this project. some of us are going in different directions with lights and lense colors and i think a new thread will benefit everone involved or interested in the tailights. I will be posting as i go along and will have pics. im sure those of us that complete the taillights can provide others with assistance with installation and options. i also think that KLEARZ.com will follow along and assist as needed, as they have been quick to respond to emails and concerns.

There is the possibility, an email to them would find out for you. I know others have asked but dont remember if they said they would do a single piece or not.

But as stated above once the lines are painted and adhesive stuff dries you really dont see the lines.

I cant wait to purchase mine, hopefully within the next few weeks.

it would require a new mold and jump up the price considerably as well as increase shipping charges.

but it would make a better unit.

I got mine as well. I did order the glue from Jason and I did receive that as well. No instructions. They are on the website though so no biggie.
