Wow, now that is really lame

all them pop rivets in the instructions make it look like ****, i think you guys are waisting your money for the price they should be show quality not riveted together and glued with silicone

the originals are constructed of plastic rivets and black silicon this is NOT that different

My custom Clear SMOKED tails versus your rattle canned nightshade, not to mention these are completely new, we can customize them how we want (paint lines if wanted), different colors down the line.

These are the best bet for us...when you come out with ones as a full piece not riveted and completely no silicone use, Ill buy yours. Until then these production made custom tails are 'IT'

P.S. You might not have ngihtshaded tails but it was for an example...not directly stated.

just seems the workman ship could of been a little better. if you go to a car show with them like that your going to get laughed at all the way home

Take a look a few pages back a properly assembled taillight looks just as good as factory if not better. And you do not see any rivets once installed...

You're an idiot. You do know that from the factory they come siliconed and with plastic rivets. From the factory, you don't see the silicone or rivets just like these if put together correctly. If you're not interested, move on.

that email box isnt working. I sent jason an email the other day, and asked if he would mold the black plastic piece(the part with the plate lights). I dlike to see those pieces dark red smoked. to give the rearend a more solid look.

well here is mine, im going to buff and polish them this weekend. I had a Barney fife moment, when not only did i drop a lens on the floor, i kicked when i went to pick it up

i had a couple of pieces of smoked vinyl, so i tinted the plate lights. it hid some of the ugly. I wouldnt mind having the black plastic molded to match the dark smoked red. i think it would give the rear of the car a more full look.

now that i like!!!

Got my taxes coming, getting my smoked set and hoping the camaro hits the streets summer 09'

I wont be installing these for a WHILE, as I plan to totally redo my rear tails, new housings, bulbs, wiring if needed. So i may have a completely new tail setup.

So excited. Need to see the smoked set installed.

Nice job, those came out great. So far I think I am the only one who ordered factory colors with dark tint... Unfortunately I wont be able to put them together until the car comes back from body shop (~4-5 weeks)

ive been reading through this thread and checking out klearz.com the past couple of hours, probably a great route to go if im gonna get a custom set. perhaps smoked red all around and just clear reverse lights.

few questions, since it appears they don't come with the "striping"/"border edges" the black borders painted on or anything, what did you guys use to fill that in?

Wow, I just got my set yesterday. Can't wait to get this project started.

I am assuming this is supposed to be a link to an electornic flasher or a load equalizing diode you wire in. Either can be picked up at most local parts shops.

These tail lights look phenomenal by the way. I will definitely be picking up a pair when I get to the asthetics of my 91

Are there any more makers of clear/smoked lenses? I would love to get some, but I hate the thought of paying $200 then have to do all the fabrication.

Klearz is the only place to get clear/smoked/red lenses. They have officially stopped making these as our original order of 20 people ended up coming down to only about half buying them, so they stopped production and stated any sets not purchased will be put on Ebay, where after all are sold they will no longer be available for purchase. The molds have already been destroyed. Get a set while you can, as it may be the last time you can.

P.S. Inital quality may not be what is expected but after some work these look like new when installed.

Anybody interested should really contact Klearz.com to be sure.

It would be stupid for them to destroy the molds, it doesn't cost em anything to store them. And they could essentially "make them to order". Especially with all the expense in making them. I think they "told" us that to try and get a few more orders right away.

If its something they told us to arise more sales, good, as we still haven't bought the original list of sets which was 20, unless some people are hush hush and not saying anything.

All I'm saying is what I was told. That they basically lost out on this deal and don't plan to do any more business with them after the last sets are gone. But I guess your right when all that could be mumbo jumbo just to get more sales.

Jason told me a little while back he had the license plate lenses done as well (molds done) but because of the small purchases made with the tails he wasn't going to take the time to make them. I asked if I could buy maybe a few sets (5 or so) to pay for their molds and he told me nope, he isn't doing anymore camaro product. So give them an e-mail, may have just been having a bad day?

Assembled means on the housing ready to be bolted back on our cars. There are 17 extra sets ready for purchase. Send in your orders.

If anyone is interested I'll sell mine. They are all clear. Never installed.
They need work to make them fit right as they are all warped. I don't have time or desire to fix them. They sell for $270 shipped, I'll sell mine for $150 shipped.

Why are you selling them? Is there something wrong with the lenses? Are those ClassicLED's LED kit or Spaghetti's LED kit?

i want to get the dark smoked and the Spaghetti's LED kit.. that will be sooo hot.. and they can be smoked a lil darker cause the LED kit is alot brighter
