If you can email me the VIN and prove to me that you have a real MR MSE and that you are a TRUE enthusiast who plans on keeping their MR MSE for a long time and want to keep it original, I have something VERY special for you. I've been contacted by a gentleman who bought one of these cars brand new and has since sold it BUT he still has the original "Git Kit" BRAND NEW IN ALL OF THE ORIGINAL BOXS!!!

Here is what was contained in the MR MSE "Git Kit":

1: Headers and Y-pipe, black
2: Edelbrock "performer" manifold, aluminum
3: Holley 600 CFM carb
4: Chrome air cleaner and air cleaner element
5: Mallory vacuum dual point ignition
6: Mallory coil and plug wires
7: Eight Champion RV12YC spark plugs

All parts are in the original manufactuars boxs inside the original Mecham Racing box that says on it "Mecham Racing "Git Kit", engineered by Huffaker.

Also, if anyone knows how to put me in contact with Mecham Racing, please let me know so I can offer this kit to them if they want it for historical reasons.

How much does the guy want? I know of someone down in Southern California who sold his to another Police Officer down there, but he already had the kit with the car. His was an '82 with '83 decals. His car was red.
Did he quote you a price?? Let me know!

Since this thread is almost 10 yrs old, I am sure it is long gone by now. I got the kit with my 82 MSE when purchased, in all orig packaging. It was missing the chrome air cleaner cover and the crate. It also contains a few gaskets that werent mentioned on the orig post.
