I am gathering all available info about the 3rd gen Firehawks and I have a question about engines installed in those hawks.
From some sources I have leraned that last four Firehawks had the all aluminium engine that would be no 24,25,26,27 but the last one had the 350 ci dispalcement whereas the other three had 383, another version I heard from www.firebirdgallery.com - a white Firehawk targa no 25 one of one in arctic white is said to have a 366ci engine, what is the true version?? Are those three ( no 24,25,26 366 ci engines or are they 383?? ) . My second question concerns the green firehawk that was for sale on the SLP website. As far as I know there was only ONE green 3rd gen Firehawk ever made and this one belongs to Bruce from HAWK`s thirdgen parts - www.thirdgenresource.com. So who owns the green hawk that was for sale?? Or was Bruce selling his own?
In fact there is quite a mess with those 3gen Firehawks I even started calling them mysterious hawks, cause nobody know anything about them and the`re unfortunately my favourite birds )
PS: Does anyone know e-mail to Mike Wempe the owner of white Firehawk no 25 or to a guy that owns one of one Aqua Firehawk no 22 .
BTW, Bruce owns the #24 Medium Green Metallic car and the #26 Aqua car is owned now by a a guy I know in San Bernidino CA and he just bought it from SLP in April, it's the only one with the 383. Green is a matter of opinion since there are 3 or 4 colors that one could call green.

One day as I was leaving my local mall I walked outside to see a metallic green firehawk praked right before my eyes! It belongs to a member of a car club, the S.W.F.B.C "southwestern F-Body Car Club." I was like OMG!!!!
Your website explains everything that I was curious about.
Thanks again.
I only wish that people who own these cars submit more pictures I only know Chris Gebhardt - Firehawk #10
And one collector in Switzerland that owns Firehawk #7, that I can contact and talk about their Firehawks I wish there were more...
Your welcome. Yes please get as many pictures as possible. Bruce just sent me some pics of his car to post and the guy with #7 is sending me some of his car soon. I'd like to get a picture of all of them.
#2 is one of the cars I do not have a pic of... I would be grateful if you could get me a pic of the outside and of course the map pocket with the embroidery

I know, thats why they used Formulas... Rumor has it that Ed Hamburger loved the looks of the formula so much that he wanted to make it perform like an exotic.
I'm not sure of the # ,buy Milt Robson here in Gainsville,Ga. owns a Trans Am convertable Hawk. It was the only one built and it has the comp.group option w/ aluminum hood, rear seat deleate and racing seats. I can't remember, but I think it also has a 383ci. in it. She has only about 680 miles on it. Chris

People with even a casual interest in High Performance Pontiac saw that one already... The ultimate 3rd Vert!
Anyway, I should think EVERYONE owning one should submit photos right here ASAP! Why the heck not show off those rare cars and document them for the people who really admire them?
I will show up with my camera video or pixel to shoot one anywhere close by me. I've seen fourth gens, but not too sure if I did see a 3rd here or not
BILL
PS- In other GM rarities, the 80s Vette ZR1s will have a nice historical presence down the line, as will the one and only 1993 Northstar Allante Cadillac. I noticed these are still selling at $20,000 or more...all of them just about.

Similar to mine, quite interesting, I had the GTA wheels on mine in gray. The car has had minor accidents and driven somewhat in the winter so it's got the blues but mine was gotten with 44 K miles and now is sitting just over 122K me thinks. Being a rare 350 TPI vert, I'm going to hope there's a snowballs chance in Hades to resurrect my Bird. The thing is running again after almost a full year just in time for winter again...luckily, VERY little snow right now hehehe :hail:
