1987 conv. Camaro

Hello. I found a 1987 camaro convertible production number 269 and they claim its a 223hp 350TPI. Did they ever make any convertible whit the 350?

There were zero factory produced 350 third generation F-body convertibles. That does not mean someone did not replace the original engine with a 350 though. This is very commonplace.

Also, the official production number for a 1987 Camaro Sport Coupe Convertible is 263. The hp for the 1987 350 TPI in a Camaro was 225.

In this case, the VIN tells all. If it's indeed a rare 1987 convertible, it will have a "3" for the sixth digit. It will also have this:
