MR MSE #83-0089 For SALE
1983 Mecham Racing Motor Sport Edition Pontiac Trans- Am
Production # 83-0089 of 150 built. Rated "Better than 5 Star Rating" by Gunnells Firebird Buyers Guide, As featured in Car Craft Magazine August 1985 and High Performance Pontiac Magazine April 1997
White / Black War paint- Grey interior, T- roofs with trunk mount storage bags, rear hatch privacy apron, Whales tail, factory ground effects,
305 cubic inch Cross fire twin carb set up with funtional ram air, body dropped from the factory with droop limit straps, Talon suspension, 170 mph speedometer, MR leather steering wheel, 323 gears, posi track, automatic transmission, PS, PW, PDL, PH, PB, PM, Original 74K Miles (Checked by Car Fax), Matching #s
Factory surround sound, air, tilt, cruise, All good tires and rims, new battery, radiator, rear end. Much documentation!
I traded a Corvette that I had $13000.00 in for this Mecham MSE 14 years ago. I am sick of dusting it and want to get a vehicle that I can drive, ride or do something with. This car has been stored all winters, never seen snow or salt.I pay more for one year of storage than I have ever put money in gas since I have owned it! It sat in storage 2 years without being moved!
This car has one cracked door panel, 1 leaky air conditioner hose, the power antenna doesn’t work, a small rip in the drivers seat and the steering wheel leather is worn. That is all! All parts needed besides leather on steering wheel are factory Pontiac.
I would consider some interesting trades. Harley Davidsons, 68 1/2 – 70 Mustang Mach I, Mini Cooper "S", Some muscle cars, some kit cars, a new Suzuki Grand Vitara, a hunting camp with some land in the USA or Canada or $ USA cash!
