Which years did the LG4 come with an iron intake?
In a couple of magazines I've read that the LG4 came with a cast iron intake. I'm guessing this must have been on the early third gens, because my dad's '85 Firebird with an LG4 had an aluminum intake.

Can somebody clue me in on this?

The other 1982 T/A that I owned had an aluminum intake.

I think only the Candian cars came with the iron intake.

My Canadian 1984 LG4 came with the iron intake. It also came without an ECM

My 84 T/A LG4 and 83 T/A LG4 both had aluminum intakes. My friends old 86 LG4 also had an aluminum intake manifold.
