Tuned port injection emblem question

I am looking at a 1987 Iroc that has a 350. The RPO codes check out and so does the badges except for the rear bumper says "Tuned Port Injection" instead of "5.7 Tuned Port Injection". Have there ever been any 87 350 Irocs with "Tuned Port Injection" instead of "5.7 Tuned Port Injection".

Here's a pic....http://www.geocities.com/biblyquad/carpics2

Thanks, Mike Jones

Do you know if your car has been repainted? That's the only reason I can think of...maybe someone put the wrong emblem on there. I've never heard of that before...

It's for sale. I have not seen it in person yet. All the other decals are in the correct locations, it seems weird that they would mess something that easy up.

id just say if the 8th digit of the vin is an 8 you aer pretty much guaranteed a 5.7.......the emblem prolly has to do with a minor accident or somethin..some bodyshops have trouble ordering the right kinda partswith that kinda thing

if the eighth digit in the vin is 8, then it is a 350 car, and the rear emblem is wrong. If it is an F then the rear emblem is correct and the side emblems are wrong. If it is an H then all the emblems are wrong!

Or maybe a shopping cart chipped off the "5.7" part of the emblem....
