I just thought this was sort of cool and thought I would share it.

Interesting. I will have to look at that mag issue; Greenwood Bros. was around before '83. VIN should be 1G2AW87S5DL230912. Too bad on the lack of info and pics. Wonder why they used a Van Nuys car rather than a Norwood if it was done in Florida.

Taken at face value, I think its a nice car. Nice story too. Of course Id also like to see documentation to back it up!

Looks like an excellent toy. Im suprised I like the all red paint scheme, I usually prefer the correct two tone factory scheme, but the all red paint job works IMO.

Nice car, I'd like it even more if it was Red/Black instead of all red.

I just saw a perfect original '84 White/Black non Aero Package T/A in my neighborhood. I need to go back and get some pictures.

Man!
I have seen stories and pictures of the Greenwood conversion!
Probably legit.
As for the Straman conversions, I have lost count how many I have seen when I lived in SoCal!
About a year ago, there was one in the junkyard! I was thinking about buying all the top peices, as well as the decklid. I should have got it all!

Very nice car but aren't those GTA wheels? Think it would be cooler with the original wheels.
