the functional cowl induction out of the early ta's and birds

ok i have seen a few threads on how rare they are, and all that

my questions is exactly how rare is one of these units ,and hwat is a complete working uniit worth ?

with all of the following

actual unit itself, screen, rain gutter, wiring, air cleaner top, and working selonoid ....

and one with

acutal unit, screen, rain gutter, wiring, and working selonoid....

i have these things sitting in my garage, and i was just going to toss them, but if they are worth some cake, i am going to sell them.

they are both in mint condition, and if you looked at them you wouldnt be able to tell they were from the early 80's

If I were in the market, I would say about $100... Keep in mind there are guys doing KITT cars that I would assume would need one of those to be "complete"

Since you were going to thow them away, I will give you my address, put them in a box and I will have Fed Ex pick them up.

Honestly They are what anyone is willing to pay for them. I threw out $100 as a number I MIGHT be willing to pay if I were looking for a perfect condition one. Keep in mind as these cars age these parts are only going to go up in value.

They usually go for about $50 on ebay without the lid, but otherwise complete. I got mine there and saw several go for that price.

One thing I couldn't get ahold of though, is the vacuum switch which is mounted on the engine, or brakebooster somewhere, and actually engages the solenoid. I would buy it from you if you have it.
