No GTA's did not come with stripes. Those appear to be aftermarket.

Notice the badges have been moved on the fenders and are missing on the sail panels and nose.

Just because the miles are low, that dosent mean the car has not been messed with.

i've seen another GTA Notchback with pin stripes. However, this one was "aftermarket". By the way, this was an 18,000 mile Notchback in my town.

As for the Emblems missing those sometimes were missed in the factory and installed later. There was a guy at the T/A nats that had this happen to his GTA, bought it new and it was missign a sail panel bird on the Drivers side, He has one to put on, but never did because he figures it came from the factory that way.

The stripes were probably added later. I have a friend that bought an 86 Trans Am that he bought new and is the only owner. His has pin stripes down the top of the fenders and in other places... Apparently someone had special ordered the car, had the dealer put the stripes on the car by the dealer and then walked away... So my friend got the car. Probably something similar with this car, someone liked the stripe on the T/A and had them put on...

Even so, that car is a nice clean car worth holding on to.
