whats the fastest Iroc-Z28?

I was wondering what the fastest factory IRoc-Z28 is. maybe top 5.What's the 1/4 times on these. I know many different mags covered em.

305 wise iroc 85', had a good cam. Dont know 350.

Hmmm... the first thing that comes to mind is a 90 IROC-Z, 350 TPI, dual cat, G92 rear axle. Those are low 14 second cars.

Yep, that exact car was tested by Motor Trend in the 4/90 issue:


0-60: 5.8 sec
1/4 mile: 14.4 at 97.8 (?)

WTF?!?!!? My car all stock was faster than mine now??? Ahh!! How is that possible? Granted I didn't have any tires..I hope that the times they listed were with the 3.42..man..I am pissed off

14.90 @ 92 is just right for your car Yarnboy. The 14.4 time is for a 1990 350 IROC-Z. Also in your sig, its U-Groove, not U-Grove.

"My" car ran a 14.9 at 95 on that webpage..stock..that's what I am freaking out about..I ran a 14.90 at 92.9 with all my mods..I am retarded..U-Grove..haha..thanks..I'll fix that

Dont feel too bad. When I first got my car, it had a flowmaster muffler and free mods. Its best time was 15.23 @ 90.69. Way off from stock.
