tonneau adjustment's

I was wondering anyone could tell me if there's an adjustment on the tonneau cover, I have a 90 IROC vert. and the toneaue rattle's and squeak's. you can mash down on the cover about 1/4 inch.

The two "bars" that hang under the tonneau cover move fore and aft. Inside, the electronic catches I think move up and down. So perhaps move the electronic catches down a touch to pull the cover tighter. Just keep the manual pull strings handy incase the adjustment is too tight.

On my '92, the tonneau cover has two adjustable bolts that are used specifically to stop it from rattling and squeeking. They are located on the aft end of the underside of the tonneau cover. Each is covered with a heavy rubber knob which comes in contact with the front of the top when it is folded into the well. The upward pressure of the top on the tonneau cover presses on these rubber knobs, putting upward pressure on the tonneau cover and keeping it from rattling. The knobs are on bolts that you screw in or out to adjust the amount of upward pressure.
