Firebird Formula Question....

What was the first year for the 3rd Gen Formula? I have information that 1983 was the first year, other info that says 1987, but I have production numbers strait from Pontiac showing they were made all the way from 82.

Can you guys help clarify this for me????

From what I can tell PHS is off and Frankie's numbers are right. I myself have only ever found about 10 exported GTA's but when I email the owners about wether it was just imported there of if it was actaully "made" for export to there, I never hear from them again...
