Was this just a brain fart or did this car actually pace the 27th Annual Daytona 500 ?

Right off I'd say yes a 85 T/A was dolled up and paced the 85 Daytona 500. But, there wasn't a commerative pace car replica offered to the public.

Just a hunch, not 100% positive.
