i have a 92 z28 colr code is 84q or hawiian orchid and i was just curious to how rare its color is. I have only seen my car and an iroc down my sreet in this color.

The color is actually called purple haze and it is kinda a rare color considering there were only 8,588 Camaros for that year with that color.You go into every model and it probably gets even rarer,but there aren't any records available right now .

The color in brochures says it is purple haze, but to GM it is Hawaiian Orchid. Love the color, still :sad: I sold my RS.

very common in RS models; not so much in z28's though.....they are out there.

sometimes i wonder if they ever sold an rs in any color other than teal or purple? but most owners of those models happen to be women; no offense to any guys who own them.

My car is purple and I'm a guy. Actually I've had a lot of compliments on it. It's not the original color though, originally Ultra Blue Metallic, when I bought it the sticker said "Purple Myst".
