86 Camaro Z28 Car History Info

Hi All, Does anyone out there know how I can go about finding some historical information about my Z28. All I have found on the Web were things relative to Carfax which will just supply me with DMV type info. Is there a way I can find out were the car was built, where it was initially sold, when it went into service, and how many owners it had prior to me in 1992. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys ....
