Well you do have a very nice, and useful, collection.I have just about everything you have except for the full line Chevrolet brochures.I know I have the magazines it's just I'd have to go thru 30 years of car magazines to find them(something I've been meaning to do).One you are missing is the '82-'84 Haynes manual(I just came across one).

I’m also in the midst of a project to digitize my part catalogs. Here some interesting tidbits so far. The 82-84 firebird catalog has about 8000 parts. The 82-92 parts catalog has about 20,000 parts. When I get a 82-92 Camaro parts catalog I’m going to digitalize it and find out how many part the Camaro and Firebird share. Well… I think its interesting anyway.
you guys can't even hold a candle to Mr. Turbo TA here on the boards. His garage is like a museum of pontiac stuff.

Second that one, been visiting George several times both at his old place in SoCal and in Kingman ... and he got some stuff most people never thought existed :-)
I got a pretty good collection my self ... all 1982-92 Pontiac product books, most advertising books, 82-92 Firebird press kits, 82-92 Pontiac and Firebird dealer brochures and post cards etc etc.
THe press kit for 1982 is not like the one for 1989, From what I have seen its like a bunch of drawings for dealers to cut and then paste into an ad...
I have never seen a Press Kit having the cut out photos, just the Ad Planners.
Here's just a few pictures of some of my stuff.
These are all brochures, Press kits, Product Books, Fleet Product Books, Ad Planners, and Aftermarket brochures, like MSE, Autoform, and Bandit II Trans Ams, are just a few.
From 1965 thru 2006.
As for diecast, I have a few.
Here is just a small sampling.
Jan,
You'll have to come back out and visit.
I have since gotten a bunch more stuff.
Robert here , is a Camaro guy, who I hope to convert soon (into a Trans Am)
I'm sure he wishes I had this stuff as a Camaro collection instead.
Next time you head out this way, I'll invite some thirdgenners over for you to meet.
Enjoy!
George

Hi there Dan!
How are things out there?
We finally got temps in the mid 70s here!
I love it, time for shorts!
I have been going thru some more things in boxes, and you would love to see them all!
How are your collections going?
Someday, I will take out those Trans Am Billboard Ads, and take pictures of them all together.
Have you done that with yours yet?
Give me a call sometime, we can chat for awhile.
Later,
George

I have not opened up my Billboard since I got it. I removed one panel to confirm what it was and put it back in the box.
As far as the Firebird "collections" Nothing new to report. Just the usual 1:18's, J/L's, ads, brochures, dealer books...Most of the really cool stuff I got from you anyway
----------
John,
Are you referring to a 1982 merchandiser catalog? It was a supplement to the dealer albums and contained various drawings of each model to be placed in advertisements. It also had various signs you could order and hang up at the dealership etc...
