IROC-Z door decal placement

Can anyone tell me the measurements for the "IROC-Z" decal placement on the doors?

Example:
how many inches from the ground effect lip on the door to the bottom edge of the decal?
How many inches from the edge of the front of the door to the edge of the decal?
Mine is an 88 but I want to place them in the 85-87 era position.
Also, I have already applied the rocker stripes just above the ground effects in the 1 inch combined size, now I just need the IROC door decals applied to finish it off.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: IROC-Z door decal placement

Do a search on the History forum. I know these measurements have been documented before. I have documented where mine are placed, but don't know the details now.

in that thread theres a link for a good decal company that sells from (get this) Edmonton and can get it to your door within 2 days, ive used them twice and LOVE them, for 50 buks CDN, its an excellent quality set of decals for the GFX trim and the door decals and even emblems. if you do a search under my name youll find some more usefull info.

I don't either. But I can vouch for these guys . . .

A friend, also up in Canada, ordered the kit (but you can get just what you need). It came within 2 weeks, in a nice solid protective hard cardboard container. The decals come on a template that you just hold up to your door. It aligns the correct position (no measuring involved unless you want too). It's a bit more expensive than the other guys mentioned above.

Re: IROC-Z door decal placement

sorry guys,

http://decalking.com/store/customer/...cat=305&page=2

theres the link, i would suggest buying from these guys cuz of the price, but if you dont want to take measurements or you think a template would do, go w/ phenox. im glad to see all the canadians come into this thread too BTW.

Re: IROC-Z door decal placement

I ordered the IROC-Z door decal from decalking last month. They shipped the product to the wrong address. What a mess! I tried everything to get in touch with this place, after discovering their error, but they have not gotten back to me at all. My original invoice has the correct shipping info and they sent it out to the wrong place anyway. Finally, with no contact from them, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. They gave me a credit, hopefully that holds, because I still need to order the decal for my car. From what I have read here and elsewhere they seem to have a good product, but their customer service is an absolute zero. Be careful with these guys.
