sweet keep us posted looks to be in pretty good shape I'm excited for you lol cant tell from the pics but 87 would be a guess cause I cant see any the dimples on the wheels which was 87 exclusive, but hard to tell from pic
yeah ive been tryin hard to see dimples but it is a cell phone pic lol what made me think 87 was the birds on the center caps i know its a long shot but just maybe. wish he wouldve takin a pic of the front
If a vehicle is abandoned, they doesn't make it fair game to steal.
There is still the little matter of DMV registration. You could fix it all up, the registered owner who owns the title finds it & simply retakes possession. Basically...You fixed it up for him for free.
Or you strip it, he finds out, and charges theft charges....
File for Lost title, for an abandoned vehicle. The DMV gives the registered owner X number of days to respond. No response? They reissue the title in YOUR name. Pretty simple, just takes time & patience.
door panels were first on my list, a po cut holes in mine. id like to get the tpi off of it now if it were a 350 car then id have the whole thing. is there anything rare/desirable i should look for on the car? if the doors are not locked ill get a shot of the rpo list. stephen, id say you can have the wheels if i diddnt want em for my car
go ask the local cops to run it first.
there is a lot more snow on the ground than there is on the car.
the tires still have air in them too.
it may not be as abandoned as you think.
