1990 Gunmetal Metallic Formula

I saw the thread for the Yellow Formula and my wife and I have been trying to find out production numbers for her car in the Gunmetal color. I have a 1988 Gunmetal GTA of which there were only 930 made. I got my information from Frankie at GTASource. Looking through his information it shows that in 1990 the Gunmetal cars were even lower production in 1990 than in 1988.

How can I find out how many Gunmetal Formulas were produced in 1990? It'd be cooler if I could find out how many Formula 350s were produced in that color. We have a feeling it's a low production number since the Gunmetal GTAs were low production numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: 1990 Gunmetal Metallic Formula

I would think it is pretty rare. I cannot recall seeing one ever...

As for production, I am not sure if it is possible to figure out how many gun metal Formulas were made with the 350. It may be possible to decipher whether or not what models got the color and take it from there. For example 1987 Yellow was a Formula & only thing.

Re: 1990 Gunmetal Metallic Formula

Thanks fellas. We have to get the car repainted because whoever repainted it last, instead of using the correct paint code they just used what was close so it's a little darker than it's supposed to be. The cool thing is when my wife and I are both out cruising in our 'Birds...her Gunmetal Formula and my Gunmetal GTA,

Frankie over at GTASource was able to help me decipher some of the RPOs from the tag that weren't listed in the GTA RPOs. The car is also a two-tone delete optioned car making it a solid Gunmetal. As for finding the number of Formula 350s...it would be nice, but I'm just trying to find out how many 1990 Gunmetal Formulas were produced. That alone would be worth it. Any help you can be would be great or helping steer me in the right direction to possibly find this information out. So far, the Formula Source hasn't been much help.

Re: 1990 Gunmetal Metallic Formula

I parted out a 90 model Formula 350 a few years ago. Still got the right door. So whatever you find you can -1 to that list. Dont worry the car was hammered.
