Information is from the Standard Book Of Camaro, Standard Book of Firebird, Firebird Red Book, and 50 Years of American Automobiles.
Keep in mind does not reflect Window Sticker base price as many options were standard, IE the 88+ GTA came standard with almost everything, but things were deletable, for a credit, AND although some things were standard there may have been a charge for them on the Window sticker.

Great posting! I also believe there is a service that can reprint the original window sticker if you send them your VIN. Still trying to find out what company does this since I heard about it in passing...
here is what you need to do...
1) you need to contact Gm historical services, pay $50 for your original dealers invoice...
2) Contact www.phs-online.com and you will have to send him your invoice, and he will make a new window sticker for you, exactly as it would have been. PHS will not make fake window stickers with fake information...

I think it would be a good new thread starter. I am not sure if I would want it in this thread, but a new thread where we could keep it clean may be beneficail, I would actually like to see two threads, one for Firebirds the other for Camaros...

There's a few models out of the listing that I see...such as L98 Z28's for '91 and '92, and an LB9 IROC-Z/Z28 for '87...those are the only ones that I really looked for since those were the cars I have/had.
Also, I have the white book from GM for '91, and depending on what preferred equipment group the car was, the price goes up from what you have listed. For example, my convertible is a preferred group 3 car, with the LB9/convertible, and if I remember correctly it was stickered somewhere in the $24,000 range.

The prices that I have listed would be the least expensive price that you could have had purchased the car new... That would be without any options, so by the time you start putting on options IE the Level 3 then the price very well could be $24K...

Here is some more details on the base price of a 1991 Firehawk...
As far as I know, ALL B4U Firehawks should be the EXACT same price. The only factor that would change the FINAL price would be additional SLP options as you can see on the SLP window sticker...
$38,131 base not including destination or any additional options.

According to all of the 1984 sales information I have or read, the L69 was included at no cost as part of RPO Y84, (Recaro T/A package '82-'84). I do not know if it could be deleted, but I doubt it. Of all of them that I've ever come across, 700r4 or T-5, all have had the L69, or at the least RPO L69 on the SPID &/or "G" Vin, just like its White and Blue sibling.
Kizz had found what he believed to be a hardtop '84 Recaro, but he was unable to verify it completely. If it was, it would make the LG4 a possibility because the same literature states that CC1 Ttops were also part of the package.

I'm sorry, this was purchased at a HONDA/PONTIAC Dealership?!? That has the be the strangest damn dealership that I've ever heard of.
My mom bought her brand new 88 IROC in 88 for $20,000. Still ownes it to this day, even though i plan on getting it one of these days. Like i said, it's a 1988 T-Top IROC-Z28. It's got the Medium Metallic Orange paint, and it's got the 350 too
