Dealer Installed Amcor Wheel Locks

does your car have this sticker in the door jam

if so you had dealer installed GM approved wheel locks, Amcor made them for GM, infact the sticker even mentions "your local GM dealer" in it. For people wanting to have all the original stuff their car had or wheel lock that would of came on it if you wanted to add them from the dealers GM approved accesories you can still get them from Amcor

our cars are not listed on the web site but if you call them you can get them directly IIRC they are $30

hope this helps some of yall

Re: Dealer Installed Amcor Wheel Locks

My car has them, not sure if they came with the car or were added. Mine is an '82 but I have the following labels, plus the locking lug nuts and the key.

Re: Dealer Installed Amcor Wheel Locks

for the pics, anymore insite on this would be nice!!!!!

from what i gathered it was mainly dealer installed and put on camaros and vettes or our era, amcor is/was the one who made them for GM to sell at the dealerships

now mine, they are gone, and the O.O. of the car dont know where they are.... im going to order a set when i get paid next week

Re: Dealer Installed Amcor Wheel Locks

I have those wheel locks on my iroc. I got the original package they come in also. Dont know if its from the factory or dealer installed. The bag was in the center console and already opened when I bought my iroc but the locks wasnt on the car so I went ahead and put them on. Here are some pics of the items in the bag.

Re: Dealer Installed Amcor Wheel Locks

I have locking wheel nuts too but I am not sure if are factory or dealer installed. I've got black plastic covers on mine, well whats left of the black plastic covers. I think one or two may have fallen off on the highway over the years. Guess I will take a look when I finally get home this weekend.

They look like the standard gold lug in my pic but has a rounded head with notches cut into it for the key to turn them and they have threads on the outside of the lug nut so you can screw on the plastic lug caps. The lugs in my pic are just the standard lug nuts that came on the car. I have the locking ones installed on the wheels.
