I know a yard in New Jersey that has an 85 Iroc with the blue contour interior. Its a complete car.Would have taken it but they want way too much money for their parts. Here are a couple of pics.I snagged the console clock after I took the pics

Looks like its in pretty good shape. Thats too bad. Hows the rest of the car? Also...still got that console clock?
Overall the car wasnt in that bad of a shape. My buddy wanted the interior so I asked for a price. The lady wanted 35 dollars apiece for the door panels just because they were for power windows.I explained that they are just cardboard door panels but she wouldnt budge on the price.I normally pay 3-5 dollars for door panels so at that point I didnt even bother asking for a price on the seats cause I knew it would be outrageous.I do still have the console clock. Also pulled a clock from an 82 berlinetta that same day

3-5 dollars each? Where the heck have you been going?
$30/side is normal price for door panels... doesn't matter what they are made of lol
I like that interior...Wish they had kept doing it or if there were good looking replicas available. The later years were kind of plain. At $35.00 apeice i don't think thats bad. How offen do you come across a nice set? Thats a shame about the black/orange interior being all cut up..Very striking..

I would never ever pay 30 dollars a side for door panels especially for a cheap cardboard one like 3rd gens have.If you pay anymore than 10 bucks for a door panel your getting ripped off. There are several yards I frequent that charge 10 dollars or less for door panels.Personally I think that interior is quite gaudy looking.Even my buddy was shocked at the 35 dollar price. He would have considered it if they were mint but not for a set that has seen the weather as those have
Once again... why would it matter what the panels are made from? If they had optional, better door panels I could see your arguement... but regardless of what they are made from they are 82-92 3rd gen door panels... not the easiest to find in good shape.
It doesnt matter what they are made from.Fact is that these were weathered and the color was faded. The lady was an a**hole and wanted 35 dollars just because they were from a power window car and had no holes for a manual crank window like that makes any difference.IMO anything over 10 bucks for a door panel is a ripoff. Some may think otherwise but Im not desperate for door panels or any other 3rd gen parts for that matter
if it was me i would have taken that ripped off piece of orange fabric that said camaro camaro camaro and stuffed it in my pocket. been nice to have something like that.
The cars in those pics look like new compared to the yard i go to! Seriously at this yard i go to the windows are down, doors open, t-tops busted out, grass growing on the seats...you get the picture.
OH and i almost forgot, i had to wear knee high rubber boots the water and mud is so deep (and thats not BS) we had lots of snow this year.

Well just to let you know that the yard where this Iroc was is covered in sticker bushes.Ive been to my share of mudpits and wooded junkyards but I cant stand sticker bushes

Ahh, the sticker bushes are nothing, now the bee hives are what keeps me away.
