I had a bad engine fire on my 1988 GTA (obviously a whole other story) and my wife found a 1992 GTA on Vancouver Island that was blue.
So, after some conversation, we go to look at it (according to GTASourcePage, there were only 48 GTAs for Canada for 1992 and for the US, there were only 15 in Quasar Blue). Percentage wise, that would put this at possibly 1 of 3.
Anyway, to cut a long story shorter, the car was a Trans Am (no Y84 in the SPID sheet). The selller also claimed it had a 350 in it, although it had T-tops (as I understood no T-tops and 350's after 1990). Anyway, I thought about buying it - for parts (the exterior looked good but there was a lot of body rot). Of course he gave some lame excuse about having mistakenly distroyed the owership title and sending away for it
Car was obviously stolen - I'll alert the police. But back to the original question, how many Quasar Blue Trans Ams for 1992? It was an attractive colour.
I have seen one for sale a few years back, L98 black PW7 wheels. 90K miles, real nice color, do not know how many TAs were made in QB though.

Yeah, this car also had the black PW7 wheels. When I saw it pull up and I saw the bird decals on the sail panels as well as the hood (and the obvious "Trans Am" on the door gound effects), I knew it wasn't a GTA. A quick look inside also showed the seats were not the "Ultima" GTA seats.
Why did I think it was stolen? Two reasons: 1) the seller did not have a title for registration (claimed it had been mistakenly shredded - kind of like "The dog ate my homework"), also, I had to show him where the SPID sheet was and he told me he had never opened that compartment!!!!
I really wish it had been a GTA - with clear title. I would have been all over that car in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!
