Value of 92 camaro r7u CND????

Im looking at getting a r7u, its the second one ive found... mostly by coincidence...

anyways car is true 92 camaro 1le r7u, i have been sent picture of rpo codes. 140,000 km, 305, has 5 speed, power everything, radio, aftermarket a/c, engine work: ported, shaved heads, cammed. The car has been repainted seems like a very nice job. White, with black stripes, the 25 anni. style.

very clean inside and out.

If anyone could give me the low end appraisal for such a car it would give me a great deal of confidence. I know these cars are epic, but i just want to make sure that down the road its a smart investment

Ive read around and it seems this car is 1 of 30! true ????

thanks guys,

Zak

Sounds fishy to me. Power everything? R7U's were race cars. Why would they need power windows and locks. Poor color choice for the stripes... should have been red on a white car. Black only went on red. Based on originality not much left. Based on whats there and what is done 3K-3.5K USD. Is the cage still in it?

All R7U's came with power windows, locks and a stereo too AND they were 1LE. The idea was that the cars could be re-sold after the racing season. R7U's are unique optioned cars which included 1LE. Even the front struts are different than the 1LE part number although the 1LE part was accepted as a replacement for the racing series. Most of the 1LE's in 1989 came to Canada for the racing series as 1LE's.

Mark.
