There were three colors from 85-87: Gold, Silver, and Red. I'd like to know the color of your wheels (gray or gold), center caps, decals, and body color. JamesC

My 85 IROC was Blue, with gray wheels and gray center caps.

'86, Body: Red, Wheels: Grey, Center Caps: Grey

Is the question what peoples center caps are or what they were from the factory? From the factory it went;

Gold wheels/gold door decals = gold center caps
Silver wheels/red decals = red center caps
Silver wheels/silver decals = silver center caps

The only way to get the gold centers was with gold wheels and decals. Silver and red centers came with silver wheels. And when i say what color the center cap is im referring to the lettering. All center caps from 85-87 should be black with the silver/red/gold iroc lettering. From 88-90 i think all the centers were the same and kind of a silverish color instead of black.

But to answer the question posed; my former iroc was an 86, gold wheels and decals, gold lettered centers, dark red metallic paint code 8748 i believe.

Mines white with gold rims with gold centers I think lol. centers are now almost all off, since the car has been sitting for 4yrs

If you go to Modern Day Muscle's site they list a NOS wheel cap for the 1988 Irocz that is black with a gold ring around the exterior and gold Irocz writing on a black background. On the same page they also list the silver cap with the black Irocz writing. They've also got many other NOS caps for Z28 and sport coupes.
