89 vs 91 front bumper cover

What is the difference between the 91-92 and the earlier year front bumper covers?

Re: 89 vs 91 front bumper cover

82-84, very different, all models.

85-92 IROC, RS, Z28 - Same

85-88 (or 7, whatever year the Camaro dropped a non-gfx model) Non-gfx models - Different

That is the bumper covers only. The ground effects are a different story.

Re: 89 vs 91 front bumper cover

I'm not positive, but I think there may be something different on the '91-'92 front bumper on the sides where the ground effects fasten to. When I put GFX on my '87 SC I went with the '85-'90 GFX and then a few years later I switched to the '91-'92 GFX and the guy that installed them said he had to do something to the front bumper to modify it so that the front would fasten to it. They fastened up fine and wouldn't have even known had he not told me.
