I remember that! A buddy of mine ordered a L69 G80 J65 84 Z28. The car took forever to come in and had an open rear with discs.

Soon after putting in my order for my 83 L69, I got a letter from GM stating that I would not be able to get the posi unit option. I always wondered why they cancelled the posi option.

I also was told the Heavy Duty Cooling was cancelled too on my car. I thought maybe it became standard, so there wasn't a reason to make it an option. But I still got what appeared to be the standard 2 core radiator.
