Awesome! I'll send you a coupla pics of what I'm talking about. Give me a day or two as I can't fin my cable that hooks to my camera. Basically I'm trying to find out where the vacuum lines (two) plug into from the right side underneath of the original air cleaner. I'm also trying to find out where the two electrical connectors go from the ram air hood. They make the flaps open The one I can't find the other end for has a fused link before the connector.

The black wire with stripe color?? with the fuse in it is for the under hood light. In my 82 it has a special adapter that splices it into the red wire going to the blower motor.

The black wire with stripe color??? from the air louver solenoid on the hood connects to a single orange wire next to the distributor, joins a wire bundle to the driver's side and exits at the two relay on the fire wall. One relay is for the fuel pump and the other receives a signal from the ECM and open the hood louver. Look for the relay with the orange wire, among others that comes out the bottom. In my 82 the fuel pump relay is closest to the distributor and the louver relay is next to the fender.

I will have to check the stripe colors. Note that in these photos, the orange wire looks yellow. The red wire is for the high speed power to the blower motor.

Note that the air pollution stuff is off my car at the moment, as are the exhaust manifolds, so it is a bit easier to see a few of the wires. I will post the relay photos in the next message.

The left photo shows the wiring just above the blower and A/C. You can just see the fuse at the right side of the photo. In the middle photo I am holding the wire that operates the hood louvers. The wire color changes to orange on the other side of the connector. The third photo shows the hood light wire tapped into the high speed blower motor red wire. Note I have pulled the fuse connector apart so you can see part of it in the photo.

Here are the photos of the relays. Note that the orange wire of interest is yellow colored in these photos. It is the left wire on the relay.

For your vacuum lines, look on the top of the fan shroud. There should be a sticker detailing the vacuum line connections. You might have to study the diagram and the top of the TBI intake cover, but you should be able to figure it out. Let us know if you still need some assistance or more photos.

Well sometimes that diagram is not there any more. Good to hear that you got everything hooked back up.

As for the air cleaner attachment "nut" I have no idea where you might find one of those, except maybe at a junkyard (once in a blue moon) or in the TGO For Sale boards. Guys are always tearing the CFI engines out of their cars and trying to sell off the pieces of the engine. Sorry to hear that it went into hiding on you.....
