I have a 91 z28 with a 350tpi and I can find all the obvious options on the car but I can't find the tag with my RPO codes? I have owned 7 other 3rd gens and always found the RPO codes for them. I looked in the center console and in the driver side rear little compartment and no luck. I haven't looked in the passenger door yet but it should b easily found. Is there way to run my vin to get my RPO codes or is there another hiding place?

Those are the only 2 places they are in. It is unfortunately rather common for the RPO codes to be missing.

Yeah, if the SPID is missing then your only other option would be to luck out and find a build sheet by searching in all the usual places (inside the door, under carpet, in the seat springs, etc). That is if it ever got one and it's still readable.

Regarding having a dealer run the VIN for RPO's, that was an option years ago (at least here in Canada). But I highly doubt that's available any more. At least nobody I've talked to has had any luck since their rides turned 10+ years old. Not in the dealers databank's anymore.
