I was looking on CL and saw this. Is this as rare as the ad says?

Yes, he's right. It's an '84 15th Anniversary Trans Am and there were only 1500 made. It looks like a nice car.

They both want 4x4s as trade so for a second i thought i was the same car lol. Yea the 15th aniv car is one that i would def like to own someday. L69 5 speed car.

I used to own one. I almost had one of the 500 5-spd cars but the guy who made me drive to Phoenix to pick it up totally lied about the condition but I found an auto for sale on my way home!!! I had a group purchase on the last of the original RECARO fabric on my old web site back in the day too.

I'm definently going to own one again, maybe soon.

It's a VERY difficult car to fully restore if not impossible due to certain parts being so specific and hard to. I will be buying a mint condition low mile example because of this reason.
