hey guys.. what up... i have got a question.... i got a 92 camaro RS... the title says RS... but the thing is that the decals... even the one on the dash,,,,say Z28..... so my question is y? is it just that someone put all those decals on for S***s and giggles... or do i not know something? is it possible for it to be an RS and Z28 at the same time? could it be an RS but have been parts on there that make it a Z28 as well? just curious.. thanks.

Check your vin and RPO codes. They are located in the left rear glove box cover.

Also... at the bottom it says BCCC on the left... in the Middle... WA-L9544 U9544 82C .... one last code thats on the sticker with all the RPO codes is this.... 1FP87... Camaro RS Coupe... so am i to assume that the Z28 decals inside n out and the rear z28 spoiler are not what was on the car originally? n its got the IROC Daytona Hood,... that couldn't of been originally on the camaro...could it? one other thing... all 92 are 25th Anniversary right? except some are Heritage Editions?
I agree with Denny...your car left the factory as a RS...the Daytona Turbo hood is an aftermarket hood that someone replaced the flat RS hood with...no RS came with the hi-rise spoiler...only on the z28...you can have a RS and z28 at the same time...if the owner makes it that way...but it would not come from the factory that way...only first gen and fifth gens have a possible RS/SS combo - not thirdgens...someone wanted a z28 but bought a RS and false badged it...happens all of the time hence the importance of RPO's and Vins...nothing wrong with having a 92 RS...still is a 25th anniversary...just not a z28...there are a lot of us that have RS's and are proud of it...

i feel the same way... my first camaro was in fact the 92 RS... just feel kinda stupid... the 92 i have now is the first car i purchased by myself and i didnt know what to look for... but i actually owe it to this forum and a lot of you guys.. becasuse if it wasnt for everyone here i wouldnt have started takin autos classes at my local college... one other question... as i said i had a 92 RS before n i has the same color as the purple heritage... minus the rally stripes (or whatever they're called).... did they make heritage editions like that?
