IROC-Z racecar poster

I forgot I had this poster. I got it at Watkins Glen back in 89 when Firehawk, IROC, and Winston Cup all ran on the same weekend.

That's an awesome find you got there, how much you want for it?! ...it has legendary drivers! plus stunning looking illustration of the iroc race car...! 89 was a good year i think...
and if your not selling it...you think you can kinda photo copy one for me, so at least i can just store it in my thirdgen folder? i got tons of pics and stuff from mags in there...would be nice add to the collection!

Ah man, seeing that cheers me up. . .even more after seeing another CFC post.

Awesome artwork too. With great American drivers too- Mears, Sullivan, Unser Jr, Earnhardt, Foyt, Petty. Lengends really. 1989. . .Last year for the Camaro in IROC too.

Makes me wonder. . .if the ever brought back the IROC series, would they use the new Camaro. . .

Post print shops can scan large items like that onto good stock paper.

I'd pull the thumbtacks and get it framed behind glass. Looks awesome!
Note; very jealous!

Yes, after I put it up I realized I should't have tacked it. It is framed now. Its amazing the "crap" you find when you move, I totally forgot about this thing.

Re: IROC-Z racecar poster

yeah i know what you mean when you move and then u find stuff like that...
i end up having a ol 91 stock car racing mag and in it had a advertising ad for the GTA trans am in black...it was so mint i had to take it out of the mag slowly and frame it! It's rare to find stuff like this!...and i did happen to find it after moving to my new place awhile ago..funny isn't it...

also, if it is possible can you do a front camera shot of the poster? I would like to copy if you take the pic shot and then i could save it to my collection on my puter ...

but if not it's cool, i kept copied and kept a pic of the angle shot you displayed..thanks!

I tried straight on at first & kept getting a glare from the gloss. I'll try again. Stay tuned.

Re: IROC-Z racecar poster

awesome poster.

If you can get a HI RESOLUTION front shot I might be able to get my buddy to make copies.

To try and reduce the glair put it somewhere with bright light behind you and shoot with the flash off.

That's a cool poster. I love the 2nd Gens in the background. Thanks for posting. I think I have some programs from IROC at Mid-Ohio in '88 unless the wicked witch tossed them out. I've got some pics to scan too. Will try to get them up soon.

Thanks again for posting that poster.
