Re: paint codes for valve covers

i have already painted the block and oil pan a semi gloss engine enamel. intake? that is just cast aluminum with no paint, mine is pretty dirty, but i am pretty sure it was originally painted.

as for the valve covers, i have already hot tanked them so i can't just take them in and try to find a match, plus, i was hoping that someone out there would have the actual correct paint code.

Re: paint codes for valve covers

My suggestion is to go to your local dealership with you vin. I asked about the paint code for the black trim around the rear hatch, etc. When I gave them my vin, I got the paint code a few days later. That may also work for the valve covers. An engine code would probably be more specific and therefore more accurate.

Hope that helps.
