What rpo indicates front swaybar size? How about rear? I did some searching but I'm still confused.. the only RPO I see that starts with F in my list is FE2, would that indicated that I have a 36 mm front bar? How about the rear? This is on my 89 Iroc.. I just want to make sure I order the correct bushings.

While i code might tell you what the car had originally, there is no telling what someone has done to the car since new. Best way to tell what you have is crawl under and measure em. For an example i crawled under mine and found out when i bought it that i had a 16mm or smaller rear sway bar from a 6 cylinder car. eep.

I'd love to but my mic's are locked up in my tool box at work. The bar is off the car, measuring it with a ruler appears to be about 1 1/2 inches but thats not exactly accurate..

You can use a crescent wrench to get the width and put that against a ruler to get a good idea of the size. Not the best, but works in a pinch. And I agree that you can't always tell unless you measure it.

1-1/2" = 38mm... sounds kinda big for a rear swaybar.
You must be talking about the front.

Reason: Reconvert inches to mm.
If the front is a 36 I believe the rear should be a 24. FE2 meant different things in different years so I had to guess with what year your car was. I know the FE2 car I got my front swaybar for my 89 V6 was 34mm.
