The local PD has a pristine Camaro in its possesion. I have seen it once or twice locked behind a fence. It was in a parade today and I got a picture, I wish I had more info to provide but I don't like cops Maybe someday I will get more pics and info, until then enjoy

talking about police wasnt the chevy camaro third gens the most stolen car for a time? is that why they added passkey security in 89? hey why dont you take if for a joy ride? just kidding!
maybe its a B4C car. But i think that's unlikely because of those wheels. It probably is a seizure car that they converted into more of a D.A.R.E. role.
Pristine condition or not, that thing that USED to be a Camaro is pretty funky looking.
I don't understand, it's still a camaro even though it has some decals and different rims What are you talking about

Well, like your signature says. "The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me. The distinction is yours to draw..."
That's just my opinion. That car looks so out of place. It looks like the body of an older 82-84, with Iroc ground effects, what looks to be a filled in Iroc hood, or some sort of flat louver.. On top of the odd hood, it looks like someone tried to copy the heritage paint job, and messed up just a tad.. Then the rims, they're hideous.
I'm well aware I don't have the best looking Camaro in the world, but the cops or whoever owns it really should of contacted some people on TGO for suggestions to at least make it look decent.

My opinion is also that it looks tacky, but I'm not critical. That's because this car is not meant to be a critically and historically accurate Camaro. It's made to be exactly what it is, a parade car. Many police departments build cars like these as PR moves. It helps them connect with the youth.
While not Camaros, the Edmonton, AB police (near where I live) have built cars for parades, shows and actually race the kids at the local drag strip!
