I am trying to find a prt that is no longer made by GM. It is the gasket that goes between the evaporator case and the firewall. The P/N is 3048190. The local dealership does not have it. IIRC, there was a dealership somewhere down south that a lot of people on this board called in situations like this, but I cannot remember the name/place or any particular threads that mentioned his name (I thought it was "Del"), but I cannot find anything through searching the threads. Anyone help on this?
Dal Slabaugh at Van Devere Olds, 877-448-5451. If the part is no longer available, you might consider 3M automotive strip caulking to form your own gasket.

I have access to the GM national dealer locator, I got zero hits on that one! On that note, if anyone ever needs any old GM parts searched, just PM me & I'll run the # for you! If you don't have the part #, I've got a 3rd
gen Camaro parts catalog, but not a Firebird one.
