Re: help my bird?

There's been a few other owners of "GTX" Firebirds posted on here through the years. I'm going to guess it's the 3.1 V6 and may have the W68 Aero package (making it look like a Trans AM/GTA)? Correct?

I'm sorry to say, but it's not really anything special and likely just a few stickers to help boost sales back in the day.

1) let me be the first to welcome you here.
2) There was the GTA, which is the only car that I could think of that had the Gold emblems and the Gold "Pontiac" emblem.
3) there was a Firebird XS which was marketed to some limited regions of the country... IIRC they were marketd to California and Colorado... not much info on these cars... but I do not remember them having golden decals.

Re: help my bird?

John, doing a search on the forums results in a few past users who reported to have a "GTX" and some of them had pictures included. Drew also mentioned spotting a GTX in a junkyard that was simply a V6 with stickers.
