Well, i was reading the new issue of Hot rod mag. today and they had an article called C4C fallout and listed the cars that got traded in. Here is the list
-1 Buick Grand National GNX
-908 '94-'96 Buick Roadmasters
-1007 Camaros
-506 '95-'96 Caprices
-131 Corvettes
-209 El Caminos
-1611 Mustangs
-571 Trans Ams and Firebirds (including 1 20th anniversary car)
Unbelievable someone would turn in a Buick GNX & a Turbo TA........
right I think that's just made up does anyone have any proof? I could see maybe the TA cause a normal person might not think its anything special.....but a GNX cmon and what dealership would allow that I would have just offered them like 5k for it outta my pocket instead of letting it c4c
Are you kidding me? There's were 100's of really nice cars worth way more than the 3-4k offered with C4C demolished. I saw a really nice vette than was running beautifully when they dumped the seizure fluid in the crank and blew her up. Watch some of the UTube vids on C4C, it brings a tear to the eye.
Americans are getting it shoved up their tailpipe from both ends. Both losing some great cars AND paying over $20,000 for each new car purchased.
You do the Obama math and see what you get. Thank goodness he's only the president!
If I worked at a dealer and some guy wanted to trade in a GNX, I'd personally write him a cheque from my own bank account for double the cash back.
*plays Taps for the thousand Camaro's that fell to C4C*
I saw a semi-decent third gen Camaro that was C4C'd at the Stockton Pick n' Pull a few months ago. . .lot of engine work seemed to have been done to it. Was sad as f***
Ok, as for the GNX. . .That's either a bold faced lie, it was wrecked, or the owner was a complete and utter idiot and didn't know what they had. . .

Just thought some would want to know.
A TTA wouldn't have met the MPG required to be turned in for C4C, so I don't believe that one.
It was really sad to see a lot of the cars that got turned in for c4c, they dont deserve that kinda treatment...but i guess on the bright side it makes our cars worth a little more once obama is gone haha maybe even before then
