did they put tbi in 85
im going to look at a 85 z28 that is supoose to a tbi. Did they put the tbi on a z28. Its auto. not sure about anything else. Which code on the vin should i look at to find if it is really a z28/tbi/v8

TBI was 88-92. 8th digit of the vin would be E for TBI.

In 85, a Z28 and/or an IROC would be carbed or be equipped with TPI.
